What do I need to mail in to get my rebate?
You’ll find the required items listed on your mail-in rebate form. Be sure to keep copies of all items you submit in case there are questions when your rebate is being processed.
Rebate requirements vary, but there are generally 3 common components:
- An original proof of purchase (for example, the original product box top including barcode, an original page from the purchased product’s owners’ manual that includes copyright information, or a product key for the purchased software)
- A completed original mail-in rebate form
- A copy of your receipt or invoice that clearly shows the date you purchased your product
How do I submit a rebate?
Follow these tips to ensure that you receive your rebate:
- Read the mail-in rebate form thoroughly. Be sure you understand the terms and conditions completely.
- Check the rebate limits stated on your rebate form. Most rebate offers are limited to one rebate per product and one per household or address. Other limitations may also apply.
- Make sure you’ve submitted all of the required proofs of purchase. Required proofs of purchase vary from rebate to rebate. Some examples include the product box top with the barcode showing, a copy of your receipt, and product keys.
- Check the valid purchase period dates and required postmark date. You must purchase your product within a specific time period and then mail in your rebate form and proofs of purchase by the specified postmark date.
- Always mail the completed mail-in rebate form and proofs of purchase to the address shown on the mail-in rebate form.
- Keep copies of all items you mailed in for your records.
